Bcurious Vibrator

BcuriousWhen looking through Babeland’s website, the Bcurious caught my eye. I love rechargeable vibrators and the shape seemed intriguing. Plus it was a sexy black and fuschia pink. I had to request it for review. When it arrived, it had a lovely presentation in a black box with a sleeve over it. Inside this black box is a fitted plastic shell holding the vibrator, its charger and a black pouch for storage. The vibrator is charged by pulling out a flexible stopper that covers the charging connector on the vibrator and pluggin the small adapter into the port. Charging is indicated by the flashing of the fuschia circle around the switches, which stops flashing and goes to a fully on state once the charging is complete.

Once the vibrator was charged (I only watched it impatiently for a while, honest), I started exploring the Bcurious. The vibrator has both a dedicated on/off switch and a button to change vibrations with. I really like this as you don’t have to cycle through all the vibrations to turn the vibrator off. I do wish the Bcurious would remember what vibration you were at when you turned off the vibrator so you could resume at your favorite setting. But I can cope ☺

The Bcurious is a very interesting shape. It has a nice arc to it and a sort of flat area on the back I could rest two or three fingers along it. The other side has a shape that reminds me a bit of a curved finger with a rather pointy tip or a tongue if you’re really good at pointing BCurious at Babelandit. The two control buttons are set behind the bulge on this side.

The Bcurious has seven vibration patterns, including three steady vibration levels and four patterns. The lightest vibration level seemed a bit too light for me as I tend to like heavier vibrations but the heaviest of the steady vibes had definite promise, as did several of the intermittent patterns.

It took me a few minutes of positioning, repositioning, muttering and trying again to decide how best to hold it. This is not so much because the shape is unsuitable – on the contrary, it’s quite nice to hold and use the tip for clitoral stimulation. I had to test out a variety of other techniques, though, so you don’t have to, but there seemed to be really only one way that felt controlled and natural.

BCurious at BabelandI ended up trying the Bcurious several times and enjoyed it for the most part. I’m a bit partial to heavy, thuddy vibrators and the Bcurious is a bit more light and buzzy but it definitely can do the job. The tip of the vibrator was easily able to move around my clit and labia and provided very fine control of it but it may almost be a bit too sharp/pointed for my tastes. I did appreciate the separate on/off switch when I had to stop masturbating in order to answer the child knocking on the (locked) bedroom door to tell me what Christmas present occurred to him that he wanted in the last half-hour. It’s a pretty quiet vibrator which helped a lot, too.

The velvety plastic and splashproof feature of the Bcurious made it pretty easy to clean. Because it has some areas that have gaps (like around the trim), be sure to clean carefully in the nooks and crannies. Don’t submerse it but you do have the useful option of not having to keep it scrupulously dry either. If you plan to use the Bcurious is more … wet… environments, be sure the charging socket’s cover is firmly pressed in and dry it off as soon as possible. Bcurious Vibrator at Babeland

While the Bcurious is not my favorite vibrator, if you like lighter vibrations with an easy to hold and control shape, you may well love the Bcurious. A rechargeable vibrator of this quality often goes for a lot more than the price of the Bcurious. It’s almost a steal!

I think I’ll keep it for a bit more experimentation. I wonder how my partner would like it – maybe I’ll need to surprise him with it and find out.
