Bo - The Vibrating Cock Ring

Billed as a “stylish, rechargeable, vibrating cock ring”, it is probably understandable that Mrs. Toy and I were really looking forward to reviewing the Bo from our friends at Babeland. We just LOVE vibrating cock rings, they are probably our favorite type of toy being easy to use, hands free, and pleasing to both partners. These toys promise improved orgasms for men, longer lasting and harder erections, vibrations for both men and women, direct clitoral stimulation for women, and just all around fun! The Bo is no different really in what it promises, but there are a few nice additions.

Bo is rechargeable and the manufacturer states it will run for up to 4 hours between charges. We have used the toy several times (fairly long uses as well… ahem!) and have not had to charge this toy a second time yet. The head separates from the ring, which is how you turn it on/off, meaning it is on when assembled, off when removed. There is only one speed, though it seems a good one. The vibrating part is hard plastic, but it has a nice smooth shape, which does not seem to dig in or cause any discomfort to either partner. To charge it, you simply plug the ac adapter into the plug-in on the side of the vibrating part. Bo also comes with a case, which holds both the ring as well as the head, and allows charging when the case is closed, very nice! Also nice is the size when in the case, this is something you could easily slip into a pocket, purse, or carry-on for travel making this a perfect toy for those romantic getaways. For the color conscious, you can get the Bo in either Deep Blue or Bordeaux Red.

Mr. Toy:
I love this toy, and I think you should get one. The ring is nice and stretchy, though you guys who are more than two inches wide may want to use a bit of lube to help avoid binding. I found it very comfortable though even after 45 minutes of wearing it. The Bo has a nice vibration, which I could feel up the length of my shaft, and Mrs. Toy reported she could to. She also liked how nice and hard this toy made me, and once I was all the way in, pressing the toy into her clit… well she was the one humming now! I even just used this on Mrs. Toy’s clit for a while using it as a hand vibrator and it worked very nicely, easy to hold by the ring and just put it where she likes it. Made it easy to use for foreplay to get her going then slip it on me when we were ready for more with only one toy to clean up later!

Mrs. Toy:
This is a very well thought out toy. Let’s start with packaging first. With the nice storage container (it can be left out and no kid would know what it is or probably even notice it) and easy charging capabilities makes it a very convenient toy to have accessible. The light on the toy allows you to easily know if it is charged and it would be a great traveling companion. Due to the way they have packaged it, it will not turn on by accident while traveling so placing it in a purse for those “just in case you might want to use it that evening and you will not be at home” times would be very easy. I don’t know about you but if I am out to dinner I would not want something to start vibrating by accident. The charge lasts for a while so you wouldn’t have to carry around the charger if you remember to plug it in for a little while before heading out for the evening.

Now on to the fun part… using it. At first, I wasn’t sure how it was going to feel. I don’t know about you but something hard pressing in sensitive spots for an extended period of time can cause some bruising that doesn’t make up for the time of use. This toy did not have that problem. The smooth coating on the toy makes it feel good but is hard enough to keep it where you want it to be. It went on Mr. Toy very easily and was comfortable for him and for me. This is one of those toys to use when you don’t have much time for foreplay but really need to satisfy an urge. Even if you don’t want to admit it out loud, we have all been in that situation before.

Conclusions:
Our Pro’s:  Size is great, shape is great, the case and charger are great, materials seem sturdy, fit, comfort, nice vibrations, discreet when in the case, rechargeable, long lasting battery.

Our Con’s: umm… hmmm… well…
