It’s nice to be in a relationship where my sexual exploration is welcomed. Not having to worry about whether or not my partner thinks I’m insane makes life smoother. However, I’ve got a kid, so I put the Orchid G toy and The Smart Girl's Guide to the G-Spot away in my goodie drawer.

Before reading the book, female ejaculation (or FE) intrigued me. I had seen it while watching porn, and wondered about it. To squirt? Or call the whole thing bullshit? These are valid questions. When reading the Smart Girls Guide, there were several times where I thought to myself, “What if I can’t ejaculate? It turns out, there are those who ejaculate every time they have sex, and there are those who never have. All of those women, plus all the women in-between will probably enjoy this instruction manual. Step-by-step instructions are outlined for finding the G-spot, stimulating it, and apparently how to ejaculate.

You might notice my use of the word “apparently,” to indicate that I have not had this experience. You are correct. I tried! I followed the steps, I did my exercises, I had quiet time to myself with my new toy. But I have not yet experienced female ejaculation. I’m not upset about it. If I work at it enough, it may or may not happen. There's no denying, however, that exploring the possibility is pleasurable.

The toy that comes with this book is a high-quality instrument of pleasure, for a very reasonable price. The bulb at the top is startlingly large, and the shaft startlingly small when I first looked at it. I’m used to a toy that is more dildo-like, thick all the way to the bottom. This toy is of hard plastic, and is water-resistant. I put in the batteries easily, and turned the control at the end to turn it on. The vibrations are very strong with this toy! The dial allows the user to control the level of vibration.  This vibe is great for clitoral stimulation, and I used it that way to great effect. When attempting a G-spot orgasm, I noted something amazing about this toy, which then made perfect sense when I thought about my reading.

In the book, it goes into great detail about a woman’s anatomy, and the fact that the female prostate runs right along the urethra. Also, the muscles involved in a clitoral orgasm are different than the muscles that contract during a G-spot orgasm. Clit stimulation can help to warm a girl up, but a G-spot orgasm is not about that kind of masturbation. If the urethra is stimulated, and not the clit, then G-spot orgasms are more likely.

So, the surprise about this vibe?  When inserted, and the vibrations are turned up to the maximum, the skinny shaft butts up against the urethra opening, near the clit. It’s brilliant—enough  stimulation on the inside and the outside, and I had an amazing orgasm. It felt very different from a clitoral orgasm. I felt it deep inside, as well as in the muscles that normally contract. Very strange to me, but lovely just the same.

I recommend the Orchid G + The Smart Girls Guide Combo. Men might consider it as well, as an entire chapter is devoted to a man’s role in G-spot orgasm and female ejaculation.
