I am in a MMFM relationship. Isn't that a fun one? I have two men I love and adore who are best friends and we're "married" unofficially. They take care of me physically and emotionally. I take care of myself financially. We do not live together. I expressed a desire for a third man and ended up meeting him...however, he doesn't like to share so he won't. He is unaware of the status of my two mates, and they know him and like him. I love him too. There is enough love in me for all three of them, and they each have adorable qualities as individuals. They're all smart as whips, they're loyal to me, extremely protective, physically and emotionally attentive. AND they're all alpha males. Meaning they're tall, built, great looking genetic specimen and one of them will probably father my future child.

I'm thinking the third one. I have given leave to the two best friends, my men, to have their own "other" relationships but I don't want to know about it. What I don't know isn't likely to hurt me. I don't ask, they don't tell. So far as I know, they love me and haven't expressed an interest in anyone else. We don't menage a trois...each joining is individual although my first two have no objections to them both being with me, it just hasn't happened.

All three are totally hetero, like testosterone filled beat their chest hetero's. All macho. It's the most bizarre thing in the world but I love it. I'll always have the bond with the first two, but I can see myself likely forming more of a monogamous thing with the third. Well... my wife and I of 8 years have been discussing this topic for several years now. We are still in our 20s (but not for much longer...lol). A long story leads into it being a big part of our relationship / fantasies... but anyway. We find it hardest to find a guy that is looking for more than just sex... we have approached it from every level and can't seem to find a guy who is looking for a deep meaningful friendship that will allow it to also become sexual.

We have attempted to bring it up to those that are close to us ( long time friends ) and usually have had them pull away ... it scared them. So then we attempted to seek out new open minded friends who we could form the relationship from the beginning with and have all in the open and understood! No avail! All we find in the later situation is guys who want to screw another guys wife but didn't really want to be close as friends.

It has been a very frustrating search for us... we are both  VERY desiring of what we seek but cannot seem to find anyone to fill the shoes.

My girlfriend of 7 years and I who are past childbearing and building a life together invited another man into our relationship.  We wanted to practice a variety of sexual alchemy, sex magik and the like and we offered to teach him.  He agreed up front.  More than a year later, after a number of tries at getting rid of me he tried to trick her into marriage, he having made plans to immediately move her out of town to live his fantasy life with him. 

This guy turned out to be a pathological liar and didn't appear able to tell his fantasies from actual plans made by both of them.  He just presumed that she would want exactly what he wanted and would say anything to get it.  We are still together but things are different.  Three years afterwards  she is still recovering from the traumas she underwent and is really shaken up by it. She was shocked at how easily she could be tricked and manipulated into saying and doing things that seemed innocent enough up front such as traveling together, but that he took as agreement to his dastardly plans.

After this unexpectedly educational experience I doubt that either of us will be interested in any additional poly misadventures anytime soon again.
